2026 U-23 Asian Cup Qualifiers: Indonesia Placed in Group J Alongside South Korea
The draw for the U-23 Asian Cup 2026 Qualifiers took place at AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday, May 29, 2025. The Indonesian U-23 national team was placed in Group J, alongside South Korea, Laos, and Macau.
A total of 44 teams were drawn into 11 groups for the qualifying round, competing for a spot in the final tournament, which will be held in Saudi Arabia in January 2026. The Group J matches are scheduled for September 1–9, 2025, with Indonesia serving as the host.
Only the group winners and the four best second-placed teams will advance to the final round, where they will join host nation Saudi Arabia. Group J is expected to be highly competitive, with South Korea—the 2020 champions—considered the favorites.
