Weather Forecast for Jakarta and Surrounding Regions
According to the forecast issued by the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), rain of light to moderate intensity is expected to affect Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, and Bekasi from noon until evening on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Certain areas may also experience thunderstorms. Prior to the onset of precipitation, predominantly cloudy conditions are anticipated.

Between 16:00 and 19:00 WIB (Western Indonesian Time), light to moderate rainfall is predicted for West Jakarta, North Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta. Central Jakarta and the Thousand Islands are expected to receive light rain around 16:00 WIB.
Across Jakarta, average temperatures are projected to range between 25°C and 31°C, with wind speeds estimated between 1 and 10 kilometers per hour.
In West Java, areas including Bogor Regency, Bogor City, Depok City, and Bekasi Regency are forecast to experience light to moderate rain and thunderstorms between 13:00 and 19:00 WIB. Meanwhile, Bekasi City is expected to see similar conditions from 16:00 to 19:00 WIB.
Temperatures in Bogor Regency are projected to range from 19°C to 33°C, while surrounding areas are expected to record temperatures between 21°C and 33°C. Wind speeds are estimated to range from 4 to 12 kilometers per hour.
In the Banten region—including Tangerang Regency, Tangerang City, and South Tangerang City—predominantly overcast conditions are expected to persist. Temperatures are forecast to range between 25°C and 26°C, with humidity levels projected between 87% and 96%.
