Actor Journey

I step where shadows learn to speak,
Where borrowed hearts begin to beat,
On splintered boards and silver screens
I trade my skin for in-betweens.

A whisper waits behind the lights,
A thousand lives in sleepless nights,
Each script a door I’m trembling through,
Half myself and half untrue.

I’ve worn the crown of fallen kings,
Felt paper swords and broken wings,
Cried tears that weren’t my own to keep,
And sowed emotions buried deep.

The mirror knows the fragile art —
To break apart, yet not depart;
To lose my name in someone’s pain,
Then find my voice and rise again.

Applause may fade like setting sun,
Reviews may wound when day is done,
But still I chase that fleeting spark —
A single breath that lights the dark.

For every role becomes a seam
In fabric of a larger dream;
An actor’s journey, fierce and free,
Is learning who they dare to be. 🎭
