Fuel Price Adjustments Take Effect in Indonesia, Diesel Leads Increase
Indonesia’s state-owned oil company, Pertamina, along with several private fuel retailers, announced adjustments to non-subsidized fuel prices effective Saturday, April 18, 2026.
Pertamina raised the prices of several non-subsidized products, particularly diesel. The price of Dexlite increased from Rp14,200 to Rp19,400 per liter, while Pertamina Dex rose from Rp14,500 to Rp23,900 per liter.
Meanwhile, gasoline prices remained unchanged. Pertamax (RON 92) is still priced at Rp12,300 per liter, and Pertamax Green remains at Rp12,900 per liter.
BP-AKR also raised its diesel prices. BP Ultimate Diesel now costs Rp25,560 per liter, up from Rp14,620 per liter, making it the most expensive diesel option among major providers.
However, BP did not adjust its gasoline prices. BP 92 remains at Rp12,390 per liter, while BP Ultimate (RON 95) is still priced at Rp12,930 per liter.
Vivo Energy Indonesia has not increased its fuel prices. Its RON 92 product remains at Rp12,390 per liter. However, product availability is limited, with reports indicating that stocks of Revvo 90 and Revvo 95 have run out in several cities.
Across providers, gasoline prices for RON 92 remain relatively close. Pertamina offers the lowest price at Rp12,300 per liter, while BP and Vivo both price their products at Rp12,390 per liter.
In contrast, diesel prices show significant differences. BP Ultimate Diesel is the most expensive at Rp25,560 per liter, followed by Pertamina Dex at Rp23,900 per liter and Dexlite at Rp19,400 per liter.
