Flood Outside

In January, I opened my first store. The store was stocked with food, drinks, skincare, and many other items. The first customer came, and I was so happy. I worked with full energy and dedication.

In November, it started raining heavily outside. As soon as there were signs of standing water (or flooding), I closed my store as fast as I could. The store remained closed until an unspecified time. The city was flooded for two weeks. Ten houses were damaged because of the flood.

Finally, the situation is almost stable. I arrived at the store, and found the door was broken. The store was empty; there was nothing left. I went to check the CCTV. It turned out my shop had been looted by residents. Not only food and drinks, but also the computer, table, and TV were gone. I don’t know how much loss I have to face. In the end, I can only accept this disaster.
