Eid Al-Fitr

The moon is a whisper in velvet skies,
A silver promise where longing lies,
Soft prayers linger in twilight air,
Answering hearts laid open and bare.

The fasting days, like rivers, have passed,
Each moment of patience holding fast,
Now صبح (dawn) arrives with gentle light,
Wrapping the world in warmth so bright.

Hands once raised in quiet الليل,
Now greet the day with joy that’s real,
Laughter blooms in every street,
As souls and smiles together meet.

New clothes shimmer, ساده yet bright,
Forgiveness spoken, hearts made light,
Tables filled with sweetness and grace,
Love reflected in every face.

Zakat given, kindness sown,
In every act, compassion grown,
For Eid is more than festal cheer —
It’s healing wounds we’ve carried here.

So let this day be soft and true,
A bridge of peace from me to you,
And may its نور forever stay,
Guiding hearts beyond this day.

Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1447 H
